8BitDo, originally known for its Nintendo-infused nostalgia products, has expanded into gaming controllers and accessories in recent years. Its latest release is the Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller, which incorporates features from its well-received Ultimate series and attaches to smartphones for mobile gaming. While the controller is Android-only and Bluetooth-enabled, offering 15 hours of battery life from a 1.5-hour charge, it may not appeal to iPhone users due to its design and weight. However, for Android device owners, the controller offers versatility and compatibility with devices between 100mm to 170mm in length. With Hall effect triggers and joysticks, remappable buttons, and additional features available through 8BitDo’s software, the Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller provides a robust gaming experience for mobile gamers. Pre-orders are currently available on Amazon for $50, with a Black Friday release date set for November 29.
