Samsung announced at its 2024 developer conference that it will use the One UI branding for all its consumer devices, expanding beyond just Galaxy phones, tablets, and wearables. Executive Vice President Sally Hyesoon Jeong emphasized the company’s cohesive branding strategy and evolving AI approach. The next software user experience, One UI 7, is set to debut with the 2025 batch of Galaxy S phones, with a focus on simple, impactful, and emotive design principles. Jeong highlighted a more focused home screen grid for One UI 7, promising a sleeker and easier user experience. While the official release is slated for early next year, a developer beta will be available by the end of this year for testing.
