Google’s Pixel Buds Pro immediately became the company’s best earbuds to date when they arrived in 2022, although they were also the most expensive and lacked key features like spatial audio at launch. Now, just over two years later, Google has unveiled a second-generation version of its noise-canceling Pro model, complete with a Tensor chip inside. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 boast a smaller, more comfortable design, advanced audio processing capabilities, and improved noise cancellation features. They also introduce Google’s Gemini AI for interactive conversations and offer spatial audio with head tracking. The earbuds come in four different colors and can be pre-ordered for $229, launching on September 26. With enhanced call quality, longer battery life, and a range of convenient features, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 solidify Google’s position as a leader in the wireless earbud market.
