The new Terminator anime, “Terminator Zero,” heading to Netflix is set to be absolutely brutal based on the trailer dropped this weekend. The series, produced by Skydance and Production I.G., follows new characters Eiko and scientist Malcom Lee in 2022 and 1997, as they are hunted by a Terminator. Scheduled to premiere on August 29 as a nod to the date of the fictional nuclear annihilation event, the series promises intense action and gore for anime fans. Netflix has also released a six-minute preview of the show’s opening, showcasing the futuristic and thrilling plotline. Revealed to be in production last year under the working title of “Terminator: The Anime Series,” this eight-episode first season seems promising and worth the watch.
