Amazing Seasun Games, a game developer, is showcasing NVIDIA’s Avatar Cloud Engine (ACE) technology in their upcoming multiplayer mecha game Mecha BREAK at Gamescom this year. NVIDIA introduced ACE at Computer 2023, promoting it as a tool for developers to enhance player interactions with NPCs through custom AI models. This technology allows for more natural and dynamic conversations between players and non-playable characters. In a demonstration, a player conversed with an NPC at a ramen shop, showcasing the NPC’s ability to respond naturally to inquiries. NVIDIA mentioned that Mecha BREAK will utilize ACE to bring characters to life on GeForce RTX AI PCs. Moreover, Perfect World Games is using ACE in their game Legends to enable character recognition through the computer’s camera. In addition to the Mecha BREAK demo, NVIDIA announced seamless PC Game Pass access on GeForce NOW starting on August 22, streamlining the process for players to enjoy Game Pass titles by linking their Xbox profiles once.
